A 1930s Kwantung Army regiment commemorative sake bottle. Celebrating the triumphant return and retirement of a member of the regiment. Written in kanji are the words “I was able to achieve the duty of the army safely” A Japanese soldier holding a rifle stands over the great wall with a Japanese flag flying over the tower wall. Also depicted at his feet is the Manchuria railway track.
The bottle is in very good condition with a minor chip at the neck.
